Mr. Sky Liu is an in-born artist. His talent not only limits to art design but also extends to different areas of artistic intelligence. He is an outstanding painter, illustrator, graphic designer, characters designer, calligrapher and a book writer. At the age of 22 he won his first award: Hong Kong Urban Council Fine Arts Award. Being a professional artist, Sky had held many personal art exhibitions as well as joint exhibitions with other local renowned artists. Some of his works were collected by local prestige organizations: HK University; Bank of China (HK); Cathay Pacific; Air Thai; HK Tourist Association; HK Urban Council; The HK Museum of Art and Heritage Museum.
In addition to his graphic art creations, Sky had also participated in many publishing projects expressing his care for the community. Namely: Sky Style; Story of A-Po; Typical Citizen; Don't Let Me Alone; Happy Mr. Slope; Creation makes the Business Chances ; Job Ticket for the Disabled and the lately Understanding the Disabled and the Enviroment without Obstacles for Handicapped .
His concern for the depressed society deeply wounded by the slump of local economy in late 20th Century, Sky had conducted a lot of researches to recollect data on Hong Kong's remarkable records, economic achievements and cultural history. He then expressed such meaningful information on a map: Viva Hong Kong. He wanted to deliver his blessing through boosting morale of local citizens by reminding them the best of Hong Kong and reassuring their confidence. The publication was published in tri-lingual: English/Chinese/Korean. It is immensely impressed local society and its circulation is over 1 million copies.
In the year of 2004, he was one of the founders who pioneered the charitable project of developing disabled and helping them to become financially independent in the long run. He is now the Chief Executive Officer of People of Fortitude - International Mutual-Aid Association for the Disabled. And he devotes 100% of his time to develop his latest creations: Cat City and the Seven Fortitude Cats which he wants to arouse public awareness of the interests of minority groups.
